Dynamic Content Analysis

GazeTracker: A tool for studying eye movement

One of GazeTracker's most powerful features is its ability to automatically analyze dynamic content. In Application Analysis, this means that GazeTracker knows when test subjects scroll in a website. This allows GazeTracker to automatically associate captured gaze and mouse data to the contents specifically shown on the screen at that time. All data is "corrected" for the scroll offset of the page.

In both Application and Video Analysis, LookZones can dynamically change position and shape to accommodate changing screen content. This includes scrolling in web pages. This allows you to receive accurate metrics on how long a subject truly observed particular parts of your site or video. Pictured above is a LookZone that tracks a particular object on a car driver's helmet. The automatic LookZone pictured here would allow researchers to automatically know how long a test subject has observed that portion of the driver's helmet regardless of where the driver moves her head.
